Sean Andrews, bassist of Redemption & indica trichome project, demonstrates the bass line to Circumstances by Rush. The bass is an Ibanez SR506BM w/ mahogany body & 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck. Strings are GHS Bass Boomers. The audio was recorded using CubaseSX, EQ settings flat, plugged Directly Into a Tascam US224.

Man, there is something in your videos that differentiate you from all other bass covers. You not only play outstandingly well, but can get a very clean and smooth tone from your bass which is unbelievably enjoyable. Great work.

RIGHT LET'S STOP MESSING ABOUT!!
Try playing Lee's bass lines (and singing) simultaneously, Lifeson's guitar riffs/arpeggios and solos, and finally Peart's syncopated drum rhythms. None of the above is easy to perform.
The "musicians" in many of the so-called bands of today would be completely and utterly out of their depth i.e. bands like say McFly or U2. Rush's complicated awesome music could well be described as being on a "timeless wavelength"!!
Does anyone else agree?
