Thanks for the comments and for following along.

  • This was a very interesting and well-presented series. I use Lee equipment, very reasonably priced and works well.

  • @research1234

Thanks for your kind words. I have been using the same Lee equipment for about 25 years without any problems....must be pretty good stuff.

    Take care.

  • are the lee and rcbs "carbide dies" so you dont need to use the lube pad? thanks

  • Thanks for your question. Lee and RCBS dies come in both steel and carbide. You choose when you buy. ---John---

  • A standard container of smokeless powder contains 7,000 grains. Presuming you are using 4.5 grains of Bullseye, and using a 200 grain SWC, then you get 1,555 reloads of .45 ACP.

  • I just bought the recomended basics in RCBS. In Jan 2009 you're looking at about $350.00+ for the bare essentials, if you buy it in kit form. (Obama inflation already at work.) Greaat job on the videos!!!!

  • @Gamble2185 gatta spend money to make money and you gatta spend money to save money

  • damn it cost a lot of money to save some money

  • So what kind of start up cost are we looking at here for all the press' and equipment? It just doesn't seem worth it to me. I'm told reloading is the way to go and how much money I will save but it looks like I'll only be saving pennys.

  • @johnrob281 -Hey john, just a quick question, with the crimp die, where on the cartridge should the crimp be? and how deep do you set your die when you first start?

  • how much does it cost to reload 1000 rounds of 9mm ??

  • Very good videos. Thank you for taking the time to post them. If you have a chance could you do a video discussing safety (the dangers of primers, how much pressure is required to seat a primer, what would happen if a primer goes off, the dangers of too much powder/ too little powder. How tight the bullet should be in the carrtridge, what happens if it's too tight, or too loose...)
