Artist: Delirious?
Song: How Sweet the Name
Album: Kingdom of Comfort

Lyrics:
What would I have become
If you'd never stopped to pull me through
What would this life had done
If you'd never whispered liberty
I heard you sing so sweetly a song of love

Jesus how sweet the name
The name that saves
Jesus how sweet the sound
The sound of grace
The sound of praise
The sound that saves

So many songs I've sung
But there's none more beautiful than you
And here I've found myself
So I'm happy to be lost in you
I hear you sing so sweetly, a song called love

Every soul needs a saviour

  • unbelievable song..great great..fantastic...

  • Well SalvationHasCome, You are not exactly correct. You see Faith without action is dead, just as action without faith is dead. Having FAITH and ACTION together is what will get you welcomed into the Fathers house and nothing else.

  • This reminds me of Radiohead...the Christian version of course.

  • Totally AMAZING, THanks to Delirious

  • They need to get UnderOath to do a screamo cover of this song! Anyone agree???

  • @Roketoman True, true say. The global human condition :). Praise God

  • Christians who tear others down should remember that the very people Jesus scolded was the "religious" who felt superior to everyone else. Of course no Christian would ever admit that they are guilty of this, but we should all check ourselves. Jesus is the only one who could condemn, but He chooses not to, He offers grace. We condemn ourselves with our tongues and action. Be warned that Jesus hates a proud heart and one who condemns because He is the only one who could rightfully condemn.

  • They ended there career to pursue new ventures. Martin said that they all were led to do other forms of ministry. Martin and his wife are involve with their personal charity organization to bring art alive through faith. They never sold out for mammon. They are one of the most clear direct bands with their lyrics about faith. All of their albums exhibit their faith. My personal journey has been helped tremendously by this band. Why do Christians try to tear other Christians down?

  • @LainOpenLog You are so far from the truth it's not even funny. Delirious took the music God gave the

m to the mainstream music industry and let irt play i the streets and on the radio. It wan't ego. Why should Christians sing songs about God only inside the walls of the church. These 5 guys are so humble and the Holy Spirit is ivolved in everything they do. Their careers as Delirious? are done, because a couple of them wanted more time with their families. Martin has 6 kids!

  • Oh Jesus... Delirious's Lyrics always matched with my heart.. Especially whenever i hear the song "How sweet the name", it makes me feel to see my maker face to face and cry...God's love is amazing for me..im really crying now..

  • @freedomdances That's alright. Apology accepted :D. Yep, Jesus name soothes because the bearer of it is Beauty itself. He's so cool.

  • @hisbeloved120 Oooops I accidently thumbs down when I wanted thumbs up. My apologies. :)
