I've been working on a wrapper class for the new XNA 3.1 Avatar functionality. It hides away a lot of the confusing and complicated APIs and gives you only what you need, and allows you to easily use the 31 built in animations or custom animations you create. Best of all, since Avatars cannot be rendered on the PC, the wrapper renders the bones in a wireframe when you're on the PC! It's being finished and should be ready to use soon.
