  • He said they "CAN be played with the same 4 chords." So don't get your twats in knots.

  • Okay, a few things. Yes, this is cool, so I'm not hating, BUT, a lot of these songs were altered to be in the same key, so they're not all the same four chords.

The Rock Show and What's My Age Again? are not even close to the same chorus.

    The Rock Show: A - F# - D

    What's My Age Again? - F# - C# - D# - B

Plus, you strum them differently completely. So not even close to the same song.

Aliens Exist is from Enema of the State, you got it right the first time, but not the second.

  • You guys need to chill out, this is beast.

  • None of those songs were in the same key and not all blink songs are either try playing dammit with thos chords

  • Hey, this is cool, but honestly, is it a huge deal? Yeah, you can make this limited selection of blink-182 singles all sound like the same song if you transpose them all into the same key and tweak the melodies when they don't quite match up. And I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a big blink-182 fan, and I never listen to The Rock Show then First Date then Dammit then Feeling This then Man Overboard, etc. all in a row... or even at all for some of those tunes.

  • your voice is made pop punk

  • @TheRealCaol4000 Well, I admit I don't know that aspect of music theory yet, so you have bested me. The Rock Show vs. What's My Age Again? was the one that just really got me haha.

  • @joeymckennavids They all have a I - V - vi - IV chord progression in 4/4. You can play the same song in a different key, its still the same song.

  • @joeymckennavids stop trolling

  • Same 4 chords or not. Here they are with a new album after being apart 5 years and a handful of successful discography before that. Some people say the ramones' music sounded all the same. But that didn't stop them. Punk rock isn't about technicality. It's about passion and rhythm. Well that's how I feel about it. And no one can take that away from me.

  • what are the four chords?

  • Sneaky, sneaky people... The Adventure is an AVA song. x3 Great video, btw.
