They're really amazing. And I love how the chords C, Bb, Am and G feature in all of their songs in that order at the same tempo. It's like the pinnacle of originality.

well it seems to be that they have made a good career out of the "4 chord" songs all at the same tempo. but i guess if they wernt in a band making music and playing shows and in general being popular, they would be sitting in their flat making youtube videos slagging off other people.

you can have your own opinion but the fact you did an unfunny video of it is a bit sad

I've followed your advise and instead of sitting in my flat making a video slagging them off, I went into a recording studio and did a full 4-minute song about how rubbish they are. You'll find it in "Video Responses"

Has is been ponted out yet that there is a great amount of irony in the fact that your vids about how songs are similar are all very similar? Or was this a sort of intentional, meta-irony?

The idea is to work in "formats". So far, only Scouting for Girls and Snow Patrol seems to follow the format. The tiring glance I throw to the camera whilst playing the song (being juxtaposed by my "tired hunched" posture) in the Snow Patrol video is a homage to this one. I thought it was hammer the point that the song is boring to play.

Also, the Snow Patrol video is about "this sounds like Green Day". This video is about "all their fucking songs sound the bastard same".
