Tibet's party chief Zhang Qingli met with New Zealand officials recently (May 17, 2011). He replied to questions about religious freedom, protection of the environment as well as Tibetan culture. He offered his best wishes for victims of recent tornados in New Zealand.

The 1951 17 point agreement offered protection for Tibetans but as far as I'm aware all points have been broken by the CCP.

Zhuan Falun was a or the top selling book in China before the CCP banned it. People wanted it because there is very important information in it. But if you haven't read it you won't understand.

That video showed Tibetans being beaten while they were lying on the ground with their hands tied behind their backs.
If you had seen it perhaps you would realise why many people in the world think the CCP is evil.

If Tibetans get beaten in public, what happens in prisons away from public view will be FAR worse than that.
