I'm retarded and messed up on the title. So if you plan to comment and leave me hatemail, I'm fine with it.

Too lazy to fix it, nor do I care, I'll just have to remember for next time.

Anyway these are Planche and Elbow Lever Variations and Progressions I've used to speed up my progress way faster.

One of the biggest differences is using Movement Transitions vs. HOLDS (as advocated by many tutorials including those on Beastskills.com & Coach Sommer's Planche and Front Lever article) because 1) I hated sitting there and holding positions. 2) My progress from Tuck Front Lever to Front Lever was approximately 6 years and most of the skill I attained recently (6months) with the help of Frankie Faires and The Movement Concepts 3) Isometric holding consequently made me more rigid, most likely putting me into pain, and making it harder for me to learn patterns/movements outside of the Planche and Front Lever.

Even in Coach Sommer's book, he advocates the use of Dynamic Strength to couple the Static Strength training. I would further add to almost completely use Dynamic Strength training in the beginning, similar to how a child learns to walk first before he/she learns to stand.

You'll see various transitions involving Left/Right, Up/Down, Forward/Back, Diagonals, Counter Clockwise/Clockwise.

Enjoy!
