Look out for the brand Bio Sculpture at your local nail salon as it is the best!! Doesn't chip the colour and is great for your nails.

Im not sure if you can get this product outside of Austraila but its made in South Africa byy a husband and wife!

I defs second this. I too do both the gel and acrylic and i really find it frustrating to hear that gels are better. Because in the end, as u said it all depends on the techs. Acrylics are cheaper, and if applied right they will not damage ur nail beds too badly. And the plus to Acrylics is that u can soak it off through acetone, where as the gels, must be grind off ur natural nail bed.

Gel isn't better for your nails!!!!!!!! Thats just what gel nail techs tell you. I actually do both so I'm impartial but I find this so frustrating. Both adhere to your nail in the same way, so neither damage your nail more. As for removing, most gels have to be filed off which can be damaging, unlike the type of gel you have and acrylic. If you have had your acrylics pulled off, can I suggest its the nail techs not the acrylic causing damage, and you go to a better salon.
