Search "autonomous central bank inflation" read someone's views besides a single candidate looking to scapegoat the FRB for the shortcoming of all ailments of the USA.

Google scholar the following search terms and read what real economists are saying about autonomous central banks and their role in controlling inflation. Elected officials have a conflict of interest in making the decision not to print more money because they are only worried about the next election.

These politicians say lovely sounding things like 77 billion will be spent on prevention, but do the math. That's just about $250 per American. And most of that is going to go into a hefty carrying fee so all that will be left is some dinky colorful government pamphlets giving us health care tips. Government healthcare is going to be such a boondoggle. And don't bother telling me how bad the Republicans have been on health care. I don't agree with their interference in these matters either.
