One more thing.... What are they wearing? And who allowe them to wear that? We also had uniforms that we paid for. Those are just clothes they decided to throw together. Wow. I Still can't believe someone put this on youtube. I would be embarrassed to be apart of that team now. We need to post a video of the actual 23rd street steppers when I was on the team and Dona. This makes everything we did and fought for look so bad. I still can't believe this.

well when i was still there apparently something happened with the team and the coordinator got mad at them.. and this was more of a last minute thing.. but i totally agree with you.. they were so much better my freshmen and sophomore yr.

but see we can only blame ourselves as well because none of us never looked backed when we walked out those doors...we talked about it but never passed down our history nor did we try to show them some stuff of tricks or how to form formations nothing... so we all are to blame for the fall... but when our leaders left we still had a GREAT team and accomplished stuff that our previous teams did not... so no excuse but i hope this is not whats left of our 23rd street steppers

wow so i was just trying to see if someone post a video of the old days and i get only this one... i wanted to feel and see for one second the passion we once put in this team and i am sad to see this.... what happen where is the heart where is the talent....i thought this team would actually last through time but as the orginals left so did the talent...

WOW!!! We were never allowed to dance like that. I can't believe how bad they look. After the twins did so much for our team to build up. They are not even stepping. HOw do they call their team the 23rd street steppers. We were so damn good. And for your info purpleygold92 when I was on the team we did win things. We won a trip to New York my soph. year. So you need to only talk about the team in that video not the 23rd street steppers, Because obivously that is not the step team.

Also, stepping is not recognized nationally among high school...it's more of a Black fraternity and sorority thing to compete in. The step team today? Clearly, they aren't as dedicated to the craft as we were, and they weren't even stepping in this video. . Ask them about the Vets: The Twinz, Marleana, Stephanie, Ricolia and Dona.
