Tony T here with our "Rockstar" quick hitter for Sunday's action.
On Thursday the Baltimore Ravens travel to the New England Patriots for an NFL preseason game with the Patriots a 4-½ points favorite. What stands out in this game are the players banged up on the Ravens. Wide receivers Demetrius Williams has a lower leg injury and Mark Clayton has a sprained shoulder. Tight end Todd Heap has a right calf injury. Running back Willis McGahee has a left knee injury and could miss this game. The Ravens don't have much depth at the wide receiving position so don't expect to see much offensive output from the Ravens here. We will see a lot of Matt Cassell at quarterback for New England. This is Cassell's 4th season and has a good understanding of the system. Head coach Bill Belichick is happy how his 3 backups have performed in practice. I really like the depth at running back in this game for New England, as the rotation is Laurence Maroney, Kevin Faulk, Sammy Morris and Lamont Jordan. Play New England --4 ½.
