  • Awesome!!! Either a remote control swan or your camera was on an arm thingy!

  • hanging upside down off the wall

and then spinning the picture round in editing

  • Aha! Now I didn't think of that one. But if you invert the frame, wouldn't the swans fall out of the water?

  • no they would flap their wings and stay at the top

glad you liked this little clip

  • Several ways to get a shot like this one .. .

1 ) shoot from low at the edge of the water

    2 ) boom

    3 ) zoom lens

4 ) float the cam on a fake swan (or other floating device)

    5 ) critter cam a swan

  • you were at the bottom of the steps at the quay ten ;)

  • @theytrebel they just really really scare me

  • @mishyb1979

I have been hand feeding swans for many years and also stroke them when I visit Windsor. In all that time I have never suffered any injury, as their beaks are not sharp enough to break the skin on my hand. The only time I have found them to be agressive/dangerous is when they are looking after their young. However, even the humble coute will go for a much larger swan when protecting its nest.

In all that time I have never suffered any injury, as their beaks are not sharp enough to break the skin on my hand. The only time when I have found them to be dangerous/agressive, is when they have had cygnets and are looking after them.
