This video was made by a group of Egyptian student volunteers that were volunteering as translators during Operation Smile's inaugural mission to Alexandria, Egypt in April of 2009. The Alexandria mission marks a great step for Operation Smile Egypt as it is the largest mission completed in the country to date, both in the size of the team and in the number of lives changed. In addition, CNN Anchor Nicole Lapin attended the mission as a new Celebrity Ambassador and created great press for the deserving organization. More than 70 medical professionals from eight different countries and nine U.S. States joined together in Egypt along with an amazing group of student volunteers to screen 458 people in two days and provide new smiles for 164 Egyptian children over the course of the week.
