IMHO Young Talent Time hit the Peak in 1985-1986, it was at its height of popularity. They had 5 very popular Guys and 5 very popular Girls, the show was great. Then the "C thing" happened. I'm talking Courtney Compagnino, they introduced this new precocious (sp) kid to the team who was years younger than the existing team. This was beginning of the end. From this point they starting getting rid of the existing older YTT Team and replacing them with younger kids.

Ok, so this all looks crap today, but at the time this show and the Young Talent Talent Team were HUGE in the 80's. It was must see Saturday night viewing for all us kids (before we were old enough to go out and get drunk :P).

@KidStarz13 Keith was never a member of The Young Talent Team. He was chosen to be a member of The New Generation. Johnny Young had been working on a version of YTT for America for a couple of years. They did a pilot with Vince, Dannii, Beven, Natalie, Tim, Courtney, Mark, Juanita, Joey, Lorena and Greg in 1987 but in 1988 they went with an older team version.

Also want to mention that on the series "The New Generation" they were divided into two groups. The 14-16 year olds were "The New Generation" and the 10-12 year olds were called "The Young Generation". This performance was one of the very few where BOTH groups performed together. I'm already getting messages to put clips up of the New Generation show so I may have to dig my old videos out. lol

This is the exact same performance that played on The New Generation in the USA. Right after this performance they were shown with host Michael Young in the exact same costumes. So when exactly did Keith enter and leave YTT? Because I do not see much of him in any of the YTT performances at all. He was shown a lot more on New Generation.

this is great - i think i missed so many shows in 88! I lived in the country and YTT was on sunday arvo - and they would just not play ytt sometimes, if there was sport on :( It's been awesome seeing all these clips - thanks again x
