Vauxhall Opel Corsa Vs Citroen Saxo VTR VTS Pt1

Back in 2002, I arranged a Corsa Vs Saxo day along with Redline magazine. Tuning options were limited in 2002, but we had a damn good time anyway. 4.97 0-60mph and 149mph (1.2 miles) from a NA 2.0 16v Corsa won the day, but it had a fair bit more top end yet ;-) Any questions please ask.

@follucks Nahh Corsa C's were pretty brand new out then, and it wasn't long before that people where putting XE's and LET's in Corsa B's. These days the games moved on, people are pushing 400-500+bhp in their LET corsas, but back then it was more a phase 2/3 chip so circ 300 bhp ish.

Would you believe my 1.6 n/a 106 is quicker than my old Corsa?

Really, I thought the 1.3 was the better motor in the Rallye? Or have you got the 16v lump in it? Either way, takes some grunt to get that terminal!! Bodies or forced induction? Thats in the high 12's at Pod!!!! Difference is the 106 will go round bends too ha ha

Yeah sorry it took so long fella, I just never had the kit to convert it until I started my current job. Bloody loads of effort, MiniHVS, to VHS, to DVD, then Converted to mpeg, then had to split it down, but we got there, 7 odd years later ha ha. Wonder what happened to the white beasts engine?

Its a 16v motor on TB's etc, i'd of got high 12's at Crail if i'd of had my good tyres fitted lol.
