well, I'm an Illini fan, and I think that even though they made it to the Rose Bowl, they had no chance of winning. USC was too good and with all the sucky seasons before this one, they seemed good, but too young.

How so? Illinois committed 5 turnovers last year, lost by a touchdown INT at the end, and got exponentially better as the season progressed. We lost a solid HB to the NFL and you suddenly think the entire Illinois program went with him? Mizzou should probably win the game given all things considered, but in no way do Illini lay down like those Big 12 rollovers you call opponents.

First game of the season. Had to work a few kinks out playing a team that we thought was going to roll over and take it in the butt. August 30th this year the game will be over after the 1st half of ball.
