This is an interesting and informative talk, but do you realize that Hargis was later involved in a scandal because he was buggering male and female students at the college that he founded?

@Hadding1933 I had heard that, yes. My understanding is that the district attorney could find no evidence supporting the claims made against him. I should add that the scandal destroyed his college. He retired from the American Christian College he founded in the mid seventies and the institution closed up a few years later. So I don't know what the real deal is because he made plenty of enemies. I just put the info out there because I doubt many people on the internet these days have heard it.

Apparently no charges were pressed but a number of students made the accusation and Hargis stepped down. It wasn't really the scandal that destroyed the college. Hargis withheld the fundraising list and the property-deed.
