Snowstorms... LEGO NXT Robot for the snow

Presenting you another snow crawler prototype LEGO NXT Mindstorms robot...

Because I wanted 4 track drive and decide to link 2 NXT's together via bluetooth.

I also tried using the Dexter Industries new 4watts Solar Panel to feed into the rechargeable battery of on of the NXT but with the low sunshine that day this was pretty useless. It made however this Snowstorms explorer robot pretty cool looking.

Filmed on Dec 16th 2010 and turned into this little video on Feb 2nd, 2011 (during this years biggest "snow storm" ) using iMovie'11 latest trailer templates. I have to admit it's a pretty interesting set of templates, just to bad they cannot me tweaked any further!

@LoganLucky no, none implemented.. NXT Motor can survive some abuse, the NXT brick much less... when i get snow on them i immediately blow it off - when i get inside, i remove the batt and remove all the Motor and lay them down on a paper towel and make sure all is dry and free of melting snow.

Where did you get the solar panel, and did it need modifications to work wit the NXT system?
