awesome design man, i've been designing potato guns for years and always wanted a put a fan in the chamber. very cool gun man.

wow.... I don't really like potato guns that use explosive gases as fuel because you can't usually control the amount of force.... but thats a very nice design- especially the way you regulate the propane by its psi

what type of valves do you need in order to make one of these propane powered? Links would be nice, but names are just as good.

@lilwyteboi206 I just used ball valves ordered from US Plastics, and some plumbing parts purchased from Lowes. The key is to make a propane meter - do a search for this on YouTube - there are some good tutorials. Also, check out SpudFiles forums - tons of great info and tutorials there along with some cannons that make this one look like baby stuff.

@karlwinkler66 Where can you get trigger valve like you had connected to the propane

@8tonsemi That's part of a bike tire inflator from Genuine Innovations, where I got the "Big Air" propane cylinders, the exact part is Ultraflate Plus.

@jessesefcik There are some tutorials on YouTube specifically for setting up a propane meter - take a look at some of those. I found that math got me about 80% there, then trial and error got me the rest of the way. The PSI of the propane meter pipe depends on the volume of propane needed for your chamber (about 4% propane, 96% air), and the volume of your pipe.
