with name changed toLion Fruit and Dairy company of Australia
t Juice false advertising and consumer protection laws does not lead to consumer confidence in Lion National Foods brands and leaves consumers to protect themselves. Lion Nathan National Foods Limited Berri Australian Grown fruit juice promotion campaign has included some questionable statements in its advertising copy as placed in the Adelaide Advertiser Saturday April 23 2011. The first statement infers it owns Apple and agricultural fruit growing orchard properties. It is a fact they are supplied by independent growers that have been exploited unfairly by National Foods in the past and present. Lion Nathan National Foods Limited pockets the profits and the growers take all the risks with minimum returns. The second claim is that these fruit properties are watered by rainfall but this is in fact incorrect as most properties are now irrigated from water supplied by nearby rivers or streams or irrigation schemes. Lion Nathan National Foods Limited and Berri also claim they have called the fresh juice range Australian Grown for a reason but neglect to tell you this was a decision forced upon them to clean up their act by a 2010 ACCC court ruling when they were found guilty of misleading the Australian Consumer on its fruit juice product juice labelling ranges a practice they had carried on for many years. Australian National limited foods employees continue to be sacrificed as this company tries to maximise their foreign takeaway profits. Most of Berri and their alternative company fruit juice brands still can contain frozen aseptic concentrate and additional cane sugar along with flavouring additives as exposed by channel 7 TV program this Today-Tonight in 2010 and nothing really has changed at all. As you now know Lion Nathan National Foods Limited is using deception to market their new fresh fruit juice labelling range can you really trust them to provide a cardboard, plastic and glass packaged product to your family that you can have any real confidence in. Please tell others and stay tuned in for more and if you care buy True Australian Compamy Products and save Australian Jobs
