** Hey guys, I'm sure many of you have noticed, but I don't log onto youtube very often anymore, so sorry if I don't get around to answering your questions. I will try to be on more and answer questions as best I can.

This is how your can rip DVDs to your ipod/iphone/ipod touch for free. Its very simple and easy.
You will need two programs:

DVD43-

Handbrake-

1: Create a folder for your ripped dvds to go to.

2. Insert a dvd into your cd tray.

3. Double click on the DVD43 icon and wait for the smiley face to turn green.

4. Open handbrake, browse folders and find your videoTS. Select that.

5. Name your movie and save to your output folder( the folder you created for your converted videos)

7. Select a preset, for me the iphone, for you whatever type of ipod your want your video on.

6. Change the encoder the mpeg4.

  • @ak47ljr

Well it works for me, I used it not that long ago on my mac. So not too sure where you got your information from.

  • is it supposed to take over an hour for the dvd to rip? or did i do something wrong?

  • @FumiDesigns sorry for the late reply but yes it is supposed to take over an hour, the program isn't known for it's speed lol. I have a brand new mac and it takes like 30 minutes to do a 20 minute tv episode

  • Does anyone know how to get your iPhone videos on DVD or CD? please help

  • @11487isme Well that is entirely different than putting dvds on your phone. My iphone does not take videos so I'm not sure. I would imagine you transfer them to your computer, then burn them to a dvd with some sort of software, don't think itunes does that though.
