hey, this is sorta off topic but i see you have how to play times like these on ukulele but not guitar... think you can do a how to play it on guitar?

One Question though. Please excuse if this is a stupid question, I'm a bit of a beginner on guitar: You say that you need to de-tune the lower E string, but to me it looks like you don't actually play this string in the video. Is it really neccesary to mess about with the tuning of your guitar every time the pizza guy comes?

Hahaha.. very good question. It's hard to tell in the video but Jon actually is hitting that low string.. it's hard to tell because it's actually the same note that he plays immediately afterwards on the A string.. it's just one octave apart. What I prefer to do is just play everything Jon plays 2 frets up (1 whole step), so that way I don't have to de-tune the E string to D. I guess it's just a little sexier with that low D-note.
