The evening call to prayer in Kandahar, Afghanistan from a rooftop near the Red Mosque - the biggest mosque in the city (visible at the beginning and end of the video). The "V" on the roof is to mark the building as a friendly to Nato forces. The sun is setting over the ridge line and the video was shot around 5.30pm Dec. 11. Kandahar, the second biggest city in Afghanistan, has been continuously inhabited for around 5,000 years.

I remember when i first heard the call to prayer in the Arghandab..... it kinda made me realize that i was actually in Afghanistan. Then i thought i was going to die. hahaha. it still creeps me out though.
