Not a great deal to say about this one, I started doing this when psxfreak101 on #boganhero mentioned it a while back, just for kicks.

I like having saves like this so when I want to replay a game for the story, I can belt through it as quickly as possible. I do intend to get them up to level 99 at some point, just for the hell of it.

Nearly all of the combat was automated with a turbo controller, excepting only having to occasionally fill Cloud and Barret up with potions so they can fight for another couple of days.

Interesting things about this save that aren't shown in the video.
- Both Cloud and Barret have thier first level 2 and 3 limit break, but they simply can't charge them at this point in the game.
- Cloud has a mastered Lightning and Ice Materia, and thus has access to Bolt 3 and Ice 3, despite not having access to the materia menu.

  • Thx for the advices how to do this in Comments! As i get my capture card (propably next week) i will do an "How to" for this so everyone with an autohit controler can do it =)

  • @HollowOmsig - Let me know when you do, I'd be happy to give you an annotation link in this vid. I wanted to make a how-to myself but I don't have the means to do it anymore, at least for the moment.

Lemme know if you have any questions!

  • Guys this is obviously fake.

How the hell are going to 8000HP. You need to have the HP Up Materia. So no. FAKE!

  • @gMemo92 - Wrong. Without any other materia equipped dragging HP down (Except for Cloud's Bolt materia), this is the base amount of HP Cloud/Barret have at level 80ish.

    Research before accusation.

  • how did you set the controler up so you could auto train i mean pressing x i can under stand but the left and right or up and down is much harder as it will interfer with the battle... id love to know how you did it :P This is awesome i love being able to sneeze on bosses and then dieing :P it's soooooooo fun

  • @lycanshadowvalentine -- If you walk into a wall at a certain angle and press R1, it will change your direction slightly; enough to run into random encounters.

So if you set RB on auto-turbo, and hold into the direction of the wall then you should run into random encounters without messing up battles. You have to make sure Cloud is still actually walking though, not just changing directions, which he can do if he gets stuck in the wrong place.
