@TurdCaptain Your comment tells me that you don't understand games design and struggle to deal and adapt with the luck element of the game.

I just played a PC version of this on Steam. I thought it'd be something like Advance Wars based on the screenshots, but no. Terrible, terrible game. Even the tutorial failed, as it explained nothing about how to actually play. It's no wonder it's free-to-play.

Real-life strategy is full of luck-determined factors. The card distribution and dice rolls can represent supply line issues, weather, or many other intangible factors that hamper otherwise smoothly planned operations. This would not be the same level of fun if you could move anything, anywhere, any turn.

The negative comments remind me of Star Trek fans feeling betrayed by the new, fun movie, lol ... do not worry, Endless space diplomacy awaits in the special features ....

I don't know how old you are, but I'm probably much older than yourself, and having played games and war games for almost half a century consider myself qualified for comment.
Although there are a great many more complex, realistic combat simulation games out there, none to my experience come close to this one for 'playability'.
I would like to see the person who could, in the space of 1 hour explain the rules and play a scenario to completion with a novice to war gaming in ASL!

This is the suckiest game ever made. There is NO strategy. If you claim there is strategy, then you know nothing about strategy. This is a dice game with army men. What's worse is that you have to add LUCK cards into the game. I would be embarrassed to claim credit for this design. I thought it would be impossible to find a game that had more luck than Risk. Then this one was created. They added even more dice and then CARDS. Now you can watch all your tanks get taken out with 1 guy.

@TurdCaptain Yeah as far as wargames go this is not it. I really enjoy Hannibal RvC and Twilight Struggle.
