MGMT - Time To Pretend cover on Alesis Ion synthesizer

Another attempt at covering an MGMT track, randomly decided to start this yesterday. I know my timing sucks, i need to work on it.

The drum track is from Reason, all other sounds are from the Ion, played live (apart from the plucking sound which i prerecorded as I didn't have enough hands :P)

The bass sounds spot on when i play it here but something about the youtube compression makes it sound really off... but, i've tried uploading a few times now and it doesn't help, so it'll have to do.

Again, no vocals, i tried adding some but it was just bad. Unlike my previous MGMT video (Kids) i decided to do the whole song :)

was it fairly easy to reproduce the sounds on the ion?

yep :) although i think i did a terrible job with the bass. it sounded great through my speakers but sounds awful on the video
