Also check out our other distance demo (indoors with stands): We did that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKd2vLuVfms

Mark Wallace shows that the new AC5 soft shield actually makes a huge difference. Mark gives a demonstration to photographers in New York City. Watch as Mark has his assistant move around on the street while he shoots at extreme distances.

  • One thing, I wanted to ask this a long time ago: where did you get that extra safety thing so you can hold your camera with one hand? It's like a strap

  • It's the Canon E1 Hand Strap. Just google it and you'll find it online. :)

  • how you do a flash compensation on a canon 7d or 50d I check on both camera and I cant find it, where in the menu?

  • can I do that with PLUS II? HOW?

  • @TALKCalgary Are you using an AC5 or AC7 RF shield? the 580EX and 580EXII spill a lot of RF noise which can potentially interfere with PW radio transmissions in certain situations. Read PocketWizard's website for a further explanation, as well as some diagrams and suggestions for improving the range of these flashes. Also, the CR2450 battery is easily found at any Radio Shack (The Source by Circuit City) store in Edmonton, AB where I live so I don't see why it would be any different in Calgary.

  • We are commercial photographers based in Calgary, Alberta. In the studio we use Pocket Wizard all the time. Outside however or even in a large enclosed area such as an airport the MiniTT and Fkex5 simply don't work. The max ETTL range with our 780's is no more than than 10 - 20ft In fact, we get better line of sight coverage using IR. Also. The TT1 uses a battery that is very hard to replace. Even our camera store don't stock them!

  • Today we tested poketwizard TT1 + TT5 new AC5, I photographed about 60 m without any problems and constant

  • Amazing!!

  • thanks a lot Mark, you always gets to the point without too mach info.

  • Where are the fotos ?
