  • I was there from 79 to 81....SO many memories! I can't stomach the thought of them tearing it down!

  • False statements abound in this video. David Dobson attempted to purchase this property while failing to make multiple mortgage payments on the adjacent property, the former Dominican Retreat House. (as much as $400,000 behind in payments) His statements about keeping it from developers is nonesense, since he was required to develop a part of the Elkins Estate as part of the sale agreement, he had plans to put in about 300 units of housing on the property.

  • this is a terrific video. i'm an alum from 2003 and was mortified to hear that the supposed move to main campus became a reality... it is such a unique property, and definitely should remain a facility dedicated to the arts. hope it happens.
