  • marco mendoza is one of the nicest people I've met, genuin and greatful. He told me and my friends to stay off the drugs and alcohol because it nearly killed him, and he told us never to give up on our dreams in music...LEGEND

  • This is a Weather Report tune called "Teen Town" I think off of an album called "Heavy Weather". There are some youtube videos of Jaco Pastorius, one of the greatest bass players to ever live playing it live back in the 70's. Somebody asked which tune this was.

  • This is one serious monster! Marco Mendoza is a new inspiration of mine. I read about him years ago in a magazine. Now, thanks to this post, I finally saw him perform. A great musician, awesome singer, and killer bass player all in one. His band kicks ass, too.

  • We are going to meet each other tomorrow evening in Alba!

  • yeahhhhhh

  • When the music stops alcohol starts!

  • I gotta say, I think this new Whitesnake is really happening stuff.

  • Great playing, love his solo around 02:25. It's awesome that he can sing and play at the same time, the only other person I know that can do that is this gal Kristin Korb. I met her when she visited Sitka, AK for the jazz festival back in February. She's a great singer and bassist who follows in the steps of Ray Brown. I loved her playing so much I had her sign the back of my fretless bass.

  • This is "Teen Town" by Weather Report off their Heavy Weather Album 1977, With Jaco on bass.

  • this really shows another side to him from when i was listening to him in whitesnake.

this guy is a legend ;)
