Penn State wins 1999 NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship

Description: The No. 1 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions women's volleyball team won the school's first NCAA title in women's volleyball with a convincing sweep of the No. 2 Stanford Cardinal by the scores of 15-2, 15-10, 15-7. After losing the opening match of the season to Florida, Penn State reeled off 36 consecutive wins to finish the year 36-1.

This match was played on December 18, 1999 at the University of Hawai'i's Stan Sheriff Center.
