Hi Mike. I tried doing something similar with Flash Builder 4 using Zend AMF and php classes that read post data based on their "published" status. I made quite a bit of progress, but unfortunately it works locally, but not online just yet. The posts do, but the page isn't.... I'd be happy to share the source with you if you're interested in extending it or checking it out.
I've also updated the sample page to render HTML in Flash

Mike! Your videos are brilliant!!!!! You helped me get comfortable with dataprovider, itemrenderer, debug perspective, creating custom components.. the list goes on. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've subscribed to you just in case you continue this series!I'd love to see videos on commenting, search engine optimization, having shortened blogposts on the front page which you can expand, formatting those URL's etc. You know, general things which you can do with wordpress in html :)
