Those outside indicators are just splendid. Also, I think the indicator beep sounds like a high pitched Otis indicator.

Hey. I'm curious, did you have to get permission to film this elevator? I want to film some elevators at the police station/civic center/courthouse in my town but I heard that photography is usually prohibited in government buildings and you could even get prosecuted. How do you go about getting permission to film them? Thanks, and great video by the way :)

The only other place I've heard this floor passing tone is on the long Montgomery elevator in the Atlanta Airport.

I honestly have never been able to determine if these were the original elevators (heavily modernized) or just replaced altogether and made to look older.
