Trashy Games #15: Batman Forever (SNES)

This was one of the SNES games I owned, and was my last one too. However, I didn't like it very much as I found it confusing and the controls were slightly broken. In my last video of this, I didn't get very far but now, I've advanced to near the end of the second stage and I can't believe it.

Like I said before, the graphics appear too dark for my tastes and there was issues with the gameplay. Maybe I should've put this under "Average Games" which I haven't even started yet but since this game gets panned a lot, it's better under Trashy Games, yet it's not as "trashy" as Ultraman and other games I covered for this series.

personally I don't think this game is THAT Bad. yes I said it, why? 1st of I take the boring shitty music off and replace it with the Batman Forever Soundtrack or Batman Forever The Arcade Game soundtrack both have killer tunes and I have an adapter to do this so I can keep the original SFX of this game. 2 this game's moves are similar to Mortal Kombat, once you see it that way it becomes something like Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero to me.

I should've putten this game under Average Games, to be honest. I feel pretty stupid for putting it under Trashy Games. This is the same thing with Rise Of The Robots but I couldn't decide which video series it's better in.

awesome graphix but shit gameplay...beat'em ups aren't supposed to be like tournament styled fighters. Back then Mortal Kombat was a top seller then the movie to i can understand why theyd want to imitate it but it doesn't fit here. Beautiful sprites but they mastered the game down to a shithole with how the moves are executed...batman never did that in the movie. I don't even think they watched the movie before making this...they prolly played mortal combat and pirated its scheme sigh.. -.-
