@lewis72 No I don't do work on it. Windows is pretty good for what I need(Games, games, games...) if I were using my computer for work purposes I would probably go mad to tell you the truth. I have used Windows all my life so of course I would defend "my" operating system. I am not saying Windows is the best, it's just the right one for me!

I've found ALL Wondows OS absolutely hateful. Do you do any work on it? I use them, reluctantly, for structural analyses for work. The whole drag 'n drop, clickety-click experience is very crumbly. Each folder defaults to "icons" for the display, so you change it to "details" but then the column widths are nerv wide ebough, so you have to drag the headings to the right width, only to move a coulumn.
In Unix, it's just:

ok, windows xp is faster then vista,and you can play games with higer FPS,but my answer is vista beat xp:
1.new os than xp
2.bether look then xp
3.you have dx10 and maybe 11 i don't know sure,and you have now some games not have suport for dx9 ,BF3 is demo but maybe will not have dx9
3.drivers bad ? you have old pc more then 5,6 years by new one ,in vista i have found drivers for my web-cam ,find for 1 sec,and on google never find i have 30$ save xD

I currently have Windows Vista, and i keep trying to love it, but man this system has some very serious driver issues. I'm so tired of my microphone just going mute for no reason whatsoever, my game's video glitches, game sound failure, cant use my old video cam, wich has better quality than the new one. I have decided changing back to XP or going 7, people say 7 is awesome. Maybe Microsoft should consider burying all Windows Vista copies, in the desert right next to E.T.

Vista is great! the media made people believe it was crap, when in reality Vista is better than that 10 year old OS titled "Windows Experience" or 'XP' for short.
People say Vista is slow, it is not, I have had Vista for well over a year now, and I have to say it's a great operating system; I especially like the search bar in the 'Start' menu, I also like the style of everything XP is one fugly looking thing.
It also plays games nicely for me!
People who say it's crap are using a 10year old pc.
