I don't even think a flashing light would have saved me it would be like a light to an insect and I would head straight for it. I was looking at purchasing a new bike but did not expect to retire this one in those circumstances.

Neat! Except for that post thing! Maybe we should pass a law saying posts should have to honk and have flashing lights so bike riders do not run into them! 73 TPL
