Is it just me or at the beginning does Ben seem like the nerdy boy in school trying to impress the prettiest, most popular girl in school. It seems like he doesn't have much experience dating women.

sorry for BEN? he invited juliet over for a dinner party but instead it was a supposedly romantic dinner for 2! i felt sorry for her! but, yes, i can see why you would feel sorry for him, and i do for parts of this scene
