I remember reading an article somewhere for this era, and Eric Carr was asked about Ace's place in the band. He stated that he was still in, but they were thinking of having an off stage guitar player as well...that would've been weird.

@merishane : Ace still did public appearances with the band, and was also in the Official "I Love It Loud" video. You are correct though, he never played one note on this album.

Ace was gone before this album was made,much yet released,They (KISS) only put his face on the album cover,he never playes 1 riff on thios album,it was Vinnie Vincent !! Don't understand why Ace is in this video,guess Gene thought,if they had Ace in this video,it would make more "MONEY" !! Heh,Heh,Lol !!
