I'm not sure how I feel about Paulson after watching "Too Big To Fail".
Some argue that he saved us, but, he certainly didn't give up any of his money on his way out. Money he made working for the same Goldman Sachs that helped bring down the economy.

these guys (paulson, bernanke) saved us from a second great depression which would have been WORST than the first. It is not their fault investment banks made bad decisions and over leveraged themselves.

CEO of Goldman Sachs, Hank Paulson, sold $500 million of Goldman Sachs stock tax deferred when he became Treasury Secretary. Then he pushed the Goldman Sachs bailout. Pure conflict of interest. He should be charged under RICO.

AIG was bailed out to cover credit default swaps that Goldman Sachs bought from AIG. Credit default swaps are bets against the housing market. While Goldman was buying credit default swaps hand over fist from AIG they were selling AAA mortgage backed securities to pension funds and calling those products %$^#&@ in internal emails (FRAUD). AIG went bankrupt from selling too many credit default swaps and Hank Paulson pushed the AIG bailout to cover Goldman's bets against the housing market.
