Transbay Transit Center Program, the visionary transportation and housing project that will transform downtown San Francisco and create a "Grand Central of the West."

This is a compilation of various renditions created by steelbue and Neorama at different times and may not represent every project prospect in the Rincon Hill and Transbay Districts (whether that be planned, under construction or other shown as representative massing models). Segments of the video may show potential designs of developments that have been revised, put on hold or terminated. Massing location and heights of potential developments may not reflect future zoning revisions by City Planning.

Refinement of our 3D San Francisco and future developments are in progress and we look forward to releasing future media. In the meantime specifics about individual project should be located on their respected official websites.

  • i remember seeing the old terminal as a kid in the 80's.and my mom and me always went there to take the bus and go home.ill miss that old terminal!

but that tall high rise said it was ganna be the tallest building in California.

  • @littlefuzz4 I'm also waiting on the word about the Desert lightning, its a high speed rail which was reciently proposed, not only it will go from Vegas to middle of L.A. it will also go from L.A. to Phoenix Arizona, and from Vegas to Phoenix Arizona, since I'm living in Arizona and Phoenix is the 5th largest city in this country, the Desert lightning would give people to Beat the Arizona heat and either go someplace in California or Las Vegas.

  • @sideslide23 You are so right. You will be able to take a trip to Disneyland at the Anaheim stop, just like you can on the current Metrolink system. I have done this several times. When you get to the Anaheim station, just take the ART ( It looks like a trolley) or hail a taxi to your hotel or destination. The Artic (to begin building in 2011, completed in 2013) will be the new Anaheim station. The CA High Speed and CA-NV Maglev will have a station there in the future.

  • Love the video, love the project design, however, I am disappointed in the lack of racial diversity of the video.

Despite California's/ The Bay Area's significant Black and Latino/a populations, I did not see their faces represented here. I only saw groups of relative class privilege, i.e.: whites and asians. It would have been nice if all groups could have been welcomed into the video and felt that they were a part of this project as well.

  • why is everything good and innovative in this world located silicon valley
