Gone: Requiem 1.24, Cedar Rapids, Iowa Flood, Paramount, Czech

This is a requiem for the Paramount Theater movie palace that was lost in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Flood June 13, 2008 after a 7.5 million dollar renovation.
The 2000 seat theater has been home to the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra. The Wurlitzer organ was built especially for the Paramount and was in place on opening night in 1928 and has been maintained by CRATOS, ( see: http://www.cr-atos.com/?p=22 )
The stained glass was designed by Grant Wood,

and survived the flood with little damage.
