My submission to The Arthouse Co-op Sketchbook Project 2011.
I chose "Make Mine a Double" as the theme and decided to do conjoined twin pin-ups. The twins can be viewed as separate individuals by folding the page over as the conjoining is always located on the page divide. There is information on conjoined twins as well as several anatomical drawings.
Thousands of sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country.
After the tour, all sketchbooks will enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be barcoded and available for the public to view.
28839 artists from 94 countries around the world are participating. The tour starts February, 2011.
