whoever is at fault, which i would say is disputable, they arent at fault by much. when 2 people wanna be in front this kind of stuff happens all the time. unfortunately the damage is just the cost of racing :(:(

looks to me like she shouldve backed off, he was online and had more speed. she was way offline and although she had the inside she was going so low that very quickly he was ahead on the outside. imo she shouldve backed off. this is also in part because even if he does slow WAAAY down and let her have the inside, if theres anyone behind them they should get both slots.

Thanks for the comments & I appreciate your point. But immediately after this corner was another R-hander that was going to give her the advantage again. CRP is notoriously difficult for overtaking & both drivers knew this which is why "backing off" is never an option. But this was a matter of trust & Tracy was trusting the other driver to behave like all the other drivers she's raced with there in the past 7 yrs.

All that aside, there is one basic rule about passing in racing: It is the overtaking driver's responsibility for a clean pass. Tracy was being passed and the pass wasn't over yet. To quote Mario Andretti, "You gotta give a guy room to race."

How did you know Tracy is a "she"? Unless of course you were there and feel you have to post here anonymously.
Anyway, she gave the other guy room in the prior two corners and was expecting the same consideration. His kart still shows the mark our LF tire on the right sidepod which means her nose was in his peripheral vision. Not saying he turned into her deliberately but he sure didn't give her "racing room". But, hey, thanks for viewing.
