k, to ppl who say that war was necessary for stopping communism, that's not te point. during a discussion that had the director of this documentary, Peter Davis, after watching this, he was aksing ppl if we had already forgotten the lesson from the Vietnam War. In other words, the WAR IN IRAQ? strikingly similar parallels. The Viets were considered ppl with no value to life, barbaric, messing everything up. And now ppl say things about all Muslims being blah blah blah and shit.

the domino theory was wrong, cambodia after the vietnam war ended went into the hands of a genocidal cult. Because, america bombed their country destroying the government infrastructure leaving anyone who had power to take over. Vietnam went into Cambodia eventually and stopped what was left of the genocide, feeding and protecting cambodia. BUT did not take the chance to force or take cambodia to communism. To be more clear, red vietnam had the chance of making cambodia red as well, but did not.

The capitalist model of the world would be anathema to any father if suggested as a model for his family. Exploitation, oppression, greed, callousness and violence would make any decent father sick in his stomach. What makes it better if it is spread a little further from the family to neighbours or people of another nation?

American capitalism may not be the worst thing in the world but it is far from the best.
