There is no real left in the US. It is right (Republicans) or right-lite (Democrats) We need a real third party.

@adnanahmad23 It is a brand used by right-wing politicians for people or ideas not rabidly far right. Usually these opponents are merely centrists, like President Obama, who garners the additional title of "socialist." Of course, it is only a country which has no real information about what constitutes socialism, that such a term would stick to him. I think the U.S. is becoming mono-ideological, i.e. fascist.

@coltrane1966 as a programmer, very aware of patterns, of compression techniques, of encryption and stegonagraphy I can assure you prices and even price-data do not indicate volume-data, do not indicate potential demand or previously failed-to-meet-demand, and by most definitions demand is in currency and ignores people who are poor. All of that is the biggest mistake and fraud possible, again why removing fraud is the real importance, setting price is unimportant. It works if everything is does

@coltrane1966 The USSR didn't fail to solve the problem, they failed to *have* the problem. They produced the right amount of supply for the right amount of people. Only one thing went wrong in the USSR: they had an expensive nuclear arsenal and diverted too much money away from the economy to keep it going. Now they don't. Now they're getting very rich as a nation and using oligarchy-capitalism to keep the little people down.

Prices have no ability to convey non-price data at any time.

@coltrane1966 setting the correct price is the choice of every participant, so what's important is that there's no fraud in it. You don't just set a price and hope it's right - that is both careless and sometimes fraud. All you need is no fraud and people will settle on the price-ranges that quickly adapt to needs. It's the real needs and real costs, no fraud allowed, that allow proper transactions and quality.

Prices convey NO INFORMATION. NONE. It's a fraud they ever did.

@ytgv3fc7 Your reply makes me wonder how old you are and you make massive untrue assumptions as to my knowledge and experiences.

Setting the correct price is of massive importance, it is a way of conveying information that one council could never possess.

The USSR never even solved this problem, the best they could do was order magazines from the USA and copy the prices, but of course Russians aren't Americans and America isn't Russia so it saved them not.

@coltrane1966 I seem to know what Fascism is more than you do, I LIVE IN SOCIALISM IN CANADA where we use it for health care and food banks and worker co-ops so I KNOW IT FOR A LIVING FACT and you do not. I have done more studying and learned more powerful patterns perhaps than your brain can ever comprehend. It's not about what prices should be: the exercise is itself a fraud. It's what QUALITY should be, what FRAUD should be stopped, AT ALL TIMES.
