School bus accident

while driving a school bus at work, the steering wheel came off and I almost lost control and was headed for a tree.

Is the steering wheel on the C2 smaller then the average school bus steering wheel? I know most of the bus drivers I had when I was in school now days operate C2s and it looks almost like operating a car in the drivers area. And they look nice. Even though I never rode one I was at the front door of one and I see them drive past all the time.

I surprised that Thomas wasn't equipping their buses enough. One day my class took a field trip on to Barnes and Noble on a 2007 Thomas C2, and It broke down because of it's engine won't start, so we took a 1996 Thomas International back to school!
