The target accu trigger is a sweet trigger. I just picked up savage 12 LRP with it. They put a warning on the side of action saying gun might fire when closing the bolt. So we turned it down to find out and yes, it will go off it gets really touchy. Lol

@kindoftough Hell I shoot paint cans at 800 hundred yards. But then again I have been shooting all my life. And Savage rifles are some of the most accurate rifles I have ever shot.

My dad knew Savage was a good rifle when he built his 30-06 from a 110DL barreled action and a straight grain walnut Fajen stock blank back in 1967. He glass bedded it and when I sold that rifle for him in 1992 a sheet of note book paper was all the gap between that stock and the barrel the full lenght. He harvested maybe a couple dozen deer with that rifle over the years and before I sold it I took it to the range and it would still shoot a 3 shot nickel sized group at 100 yards left handed!
