an AMAZING number. the last part of the scene -- where he pushes the cart, she jumps on it, and he begins to twirl her around the hall -- wow! i can't imagine the rehearsal that must have gone it to that.

@pdcushing yes they do but u need to know where to look. plus the amount of chiffon in that skirt woul cost a fortune

I *think* this was an MGM film. Even though musicals were on their way "out" in the 1950's, MGM continued to put out a class acts like this. I'm thinking also of "Band Wagon" and "It's Always Fair Weather."
