probably the last song ill post from the album(timewarp:greatest hits). my favorite on it and very different from the rest. basically country blues. it is quality....homemade beer and a lotta free time...

This song is unforgettable; even from an esoteric band like the Ozark Mountain Daredevils it's still very unusual and is the only song I've ever heard that uses the term 'butterfat skins' (!) Contrast 'E.E. Lawson' with 'Mr. Powell' and 'Colorado Song'.

@tompetty832002 The ozarks were a very underrated band and thier music was stunning. Jackie blue is my least favourite Ozarks song, but if you sit and listen to it and discover the deep story within the song, it starts to make sense.

i am not an authority on the band. i bought time warp because i liked the cover and teh back and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. the band is still functioning but to my knowledge though i could well be wrong they are not making new music. im not a big jackie blue fan, but to each his own.
