v3 video Clowns Trailer

This the v3® trailer I cut together for my short film Clowns. Clowns is a nonsensical farce about a Clown who has a mental breakdown. In reality, it was a Moving Optical Element (MOE™) Jr. lens test. The MOE Jr. series lenses were the first v3™ 35 mm motion picture parallax scanning (depth enhancement) prototype optical systems developed by Vision III Imaging, Inc. in the mid 1990s.

Are these guys professional clowns? There makeup and costume is great.

Hi Ron: They were not professional clowns. They were not even professional actors, although they were trying to become working actors.  We hired a makeup artist and rented the clown costumes with the shoes. Once these guys were made up and in costume they fell into character - it was a lot of fun to produce.
